About
Authentic rural charm where Munch spent his childhood years
Beautiful Bjørke Østre is located at Ådalsbruk just south of Løten town centre, and is only a 15-minute drive from Hamar.
Stay in an idyllic farmhouse dating back to 1707. There are three bedrooms on the first floor; one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and one with four single beds – ideal for a family. On the welcoming ground floor is a newly refurbished bathroom, kitchen, living room, and a lounge.
Accommodation is available for a minimum of two people, and for a minimum of two nights. Cleaning, bed linen, and towels are included in the price.
Explore the surrounding area by bicycle, or take a stroll along the trail to the Munch Centre, Munch’s birthplace, or Klevfos Industrial Museum. In winter, Bjørke Østre is an excellent base from which to enjoy the alpine centres and cross-country skiing opportunities at Budor/Hedmarksvidda, only 20 minutes away. There is a woodland shelter 5 minutes away with a children’s toboggan run, BBQ facilities, and a campfire.
