Among these is Ilsengstiene, a trail network that has been voted Norway's most beautiful hike. A walk along the beach promenade in Stange and Hamar is stimulation for both body and mind. For a day on the beach, Koigen by Hamar town centre is the ideal spot.
The gentle landscape surrounding Mjøsa is perfect for relaxing bicycle rides. Mjøstråkk is a 234 km route around Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake. And is right around the corner is Hedmarksvidda – a popular biking terrain and a spectacular skiing area with an impressive 300 km of groomed cross-country ski trails.
