A vibrant food and cultural scene in Hamar town centre

Victoriakvartalet, a recently renovated 15 000 sq. m complex comprising Victoria Hotel, Festivitetsbygget and Restaurant Victoriahaven, is a fantastic new addition to Hamar town centre. Besides bringing even more life to a vibrant urban setting, it honours the history of this part of Hamar town.

Festivitetsbygget (perhaps better known as the “old town hall” or Hamar Theatre) was for decades a meeting point for the town’s inhabitants, and has played host to everything from dances and shows to exquisite banquets. It also served as town hall for many years.

The complex is home to a hotel with 400 beds, four unique restaurants, several concert venues, conference and function facilities, and the fantastic Hamar Theatre (which has kept Festivitetsbygget going for over 10 years). In short, a destination for food and cultural experiences!
