About

The Norwegian Railway Museum is a museum for children. Norway's shortest railway line is just a few hundred metres long, and a trip on the pellets-fired steam train is a highlight for many visitors. Leikvangen station and the mini train are in the middle of the park and are a firm favourite with children. In the play area, children can use their imagination as they play with trains. The model locomotive Urskog is ready to depart and everyone can have a go at being an engine driver on the train simulator.

Our grand station buildings create a nostalgic atmosphere in the museum park, and the main exhibition takes you on a short journey through Norway's transport and railway history.
